The Prayer Breakfast Host Committee is a group of dedicated individuals formed each year for the real estate Prayer Breakfast. The Host Committee brings people together for an incredible morning of networking and interaction with leaders from the real estate Industry.
Prayer Breakfast Host Committee
The Real Estate Prayer Breakfast was first planned as an event that would recognize the faith and commitment of Mark Christopher, who was “battling” lung cancer that had been diagnosed in December of 1996. Unfortunately, the first breakfast originally scheduled for May of ‘98 was postponed when Mark was unable to speak. Mark died at the end of that month, and we held our first event in his honor in October 1998.
Mark’s faith and testimony reached thousands in the real estate industry, as he dealt with his illness for one and a half years. His voice mail “sermonettes” were especially uplifting to the people that called his line on a weekly basis. Mark had found a peace that he wanted to share with us all, and this annual breakfast is an opportunity for the Atlanta real estate family to gather together in our own Christian walk and to honor Mark’s walk with his Savior.
