Eleventh Annual Real Estate Prayer Breakfast 2009

Keynote Speaker

Jeff Kemp

For eleven seasons, Jeff Kemp was a National Football League quarterback with the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, the Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles. He delivered his best performances in 1984 when he quarterbacked the Rams and led them to the playoffs and in 1986, where he threw eleven touchdowns for the 49ers in six games.

Jeff and his father, Jack Kemp, are one of the only four sets of fathers and sons who have played quarterback in the NFL. His father, Jack, is a former U.S. Congressman, Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and ran for Vice President in 1996.

After quarterbacking in the NFL, Jeff Kemp, with a bachelor's degree in economics from Dartmouth College, as well as an MBA with honors from Pepperdine University School of Business, moved on to his current post as the president of Families Northwest. Families Northwest is a leading non-profit organization in the emerging national marriage and healthy family movement.

Jeff learned, applied, and now passes on many dynamic lessons from the world of athletics and pro football - lessons about persistence, vision, team communication, relationship-based leadership, and success. He is committed to honoring God with his best, basing his life on relationship with Jesus Christ and using his leadership and speaking opportunities to strengthen men and women in the crucial area of family life. He is an inspiring and thought-provoking speaker and is popular with large and small groups.

Jeff and his family make their home in Redmond, Washington. He and his wife, Stacy, cherish family time, especially skiing with their sons Kyle, Kory, Kolby, and Keegan. Another favorite activity is supporting youth sports, especially when Jeff is coaching one of his sons’ teams.
